ENGR 3220: Biomedical Imaging
In this upper-level technical elective, students learn the fundamental principles underlying biomedical imaging modalities such as optical imaging, x-ray, computed tomography, MRI, and ultrasound. Students develop proficiency in image acquisition, processing, and interpretation techniques, including machine learning-based image analysis.
ENGR 1103: Engineering Analysis Lab
In this first-year laboratory class, students apply fundamental concepts learned in physics and calculus to real-world engineering applications. Students construct ECG circuits to measure heart rate, and design and construct a boat using mathematical and physical analysis.
ENGR 1102: Physical Modeling and Analysis Lab
In this first-year course, students develop skills to model and analyze physical concepts. Students build a step counter using mobile phone sensors, model heat conduction, analyze rotational motion, and learn about basic circuit elements.
